Spitfire Audio announces Hans Zimmer Strings

Spitfire Audio has announced upcoming availability of Hans Zimmer Strings.

Here's what they say: "To create the greatest film scores in the world, you need to think outside the box. Hans Zimmer, the "Godfather of Orchestral Sampling", came to Spitfire to produce this innovation; 344 players, AIR Studios... Only technology can allow you to play an ensemble this big. From thundering basslines to glass-like high strings, this is symphonic strings maximised."

With the help of design and user experience agency UsTwo (Monument Valley, DICE), Hans Zimmer Strings is available as a plug-in developed primarily for composers, by composers.

From March 28, 2018, Hans Zimmer Strings will be available as a dedicated (AAX, AU, VST2, and VST3) plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows — 184 GB HD or SSD space required.

Spitfire Audio is accepting pre-orders at a time-limited introductory promo price of £549.00 (inc. VAT) / $599.00 / €599.00 (inc. VAT) — rising thereafter to an MSRP of £699.00 (inc. VAT) / $799.00 / €799 (inc. VAT). Anyone pre-ordering will receive the limited-edition Hans Zimmer Strings book.

Anyone else have an issue with the inflated price with the Zimmer name? The Zimmer piano is my worst experience with buyers remorse.. Mixing 8dio and Jaeger would sound better for most gigs anyway... I welcome thoughts.. Spitfire are experts at marketing...
