Ethnic voices is a multi-genre vocal instrument for beatmakers, composers, and sound designers. Its authentic traditional Slavic female vocal sample library offers unorthodox sounds designed for two layer playback performance: balance between rhythmic loops and one shot samples.
With an academic background in ethnomusicology, our team was looking for vocal sound that could bring new influences into contemporary music production. We've focused on the chest resonating singing tradition used during the Old Believer rituals in Eastern Europe. As a result, Ethnic Voices instrument is based on hours of vocal recording sessions.
