Wave Arts have released FinalPlug, a new peak limiter/volume maximizer plug-in, which features comprehensive bit depth truncation and dithering options. FinalPlug represents a continuation of Wave Arts' line of essential sound processing tools, joining TrackPlug, MasterVerb and WaveSurround Pro.

Features include:
  • Sonically transparent peak limiting, use as peak limiter or volume maximizer.
  • Effective on individual tracks or an entire mix.
  • Mono to mono or stereo to stereo operation.
  • Bit depth truncation from 4 to 24 bits.
  • TPDF dithering.
  • Comprehensive noise shaping options.
  • Operation up to 192 kHz sampling rate.
  • Presets for CD and DVD-audio mastering and track compression.

FinalPlug costs $149.95 and is available in the following formats:

  • Mac OS X AU / MAS / VST / RTAS
  • Mac OS 9 MAS / VST / RTAS
  • Windows DX / VST.
