Wire Grind has released a sample library containing impulse responses. The impulses may be used with convolution plug-ins to produce reverberation effects.
The sample library contains a total of 112 impulses. Each of these has been synthesized using an algorithm that combines theoretical physics and measured acoustical data. A different combination of synthesis parameters were used for each impulse, thereby giving users the ability to choose from a range of perceptual characteristics. Half of the impulses have simulated stereo recording, which results in a particularly immersive sound when used with headphones.
Key Features:
- Seven decay times.
- Four wetness levels.
- Frequency dependent decay profiles.
- Simulated stereo recording.
Specifications:
- Channel formats: mono and stereo.
- Sample rates: 44.1kHz, 48kHz.
- Bit depth: 24-bit.
- File format: WAV.
Wire Grind's Impulse Response Library comes with a free license.
