Abx3

Abx3 is a Bass Line Synthesizer capabable of producing TB-303 acid sound sequences, it's the successor of AcidBox.

Features:

4 modes:

• Host sync: step note sequencer is sync to DAW/Host.
• Internal: step note sequencer is independant.
• MIDI in: Abx3 acts like any classic VA synth: it reacts to MIDI note on its input.
• ARP: Abx3 plays its step note sequence, shifted by the MIDI in note pitch.

Synth part:

• Oscillator with 32 waveforms to choose from + sub bass oscillator.
• LP Filter with high resonance for recreating "that Acid sound".

FX part:
8 distortions with different character to choose:

• Overdrive.
• Hard Clipping.
• Valve emulation.
• Hard Drive.
• "BitCrusher".
• Fuzz distorsion.
• Clipper + Filter.
• Sinus remapper.

Delay with ping/pong mode, free or sync to host tempo, LP/HP filter in feedback path.

FX rack with 3 slots and 7 FX to choose from:

• Reverb.
• Echo/Reverb.
• Digital Reverb.
• Stereo Chorus.
• Mono Chorus.
• 4 Band Fuzz Distorsion.
• Flanger.

Step note sequencer part:

• Up to 64 steps with note / slide / accent + fine tune /micro time / pan for each step.
• 32 different patterns with independant number of steps per pattern (from 1 to 64).
• Global gate / groove parameter.
• Speed parameter (from 8 time slower to 4 time faster, with 2 ternary modes).
• Independant/global parameters mode:
  - independant parameters per pattern.
  or
  - all patterns share the sames parameters.
• Independant/global step modulation sequence:
  - independant param modulation sequences per pattern.
  or
  - global param modulation sequences for all patterns.
• Edit note sequence from the UI or use MIDI in inputs in real time to insert notes in the sequencer (use pitch bend up/down for slide, velocity beyond threshold insert accent).
• Use low MIDI notes (1-32) to trigger patterns.
• 4 pattern trigger mode sync to choose from: free, step, bar, auto.
• Import/export/copy/paste/randomize patterns + export MIDI file from sequence.
• Parameter modulation part:
• Independant sequenced modulations for synth param: record or draw sequences of step modulations.
• 32 looped step modulation sequences with independant speed (from 16 time slower to 2 time faster).

MIDI Out: Abx3 outputs MIDI notes from the step note sequencer (VST/VST3/AAX/Standalone).
