Amplifikation Vermilion is a Guitar Amp Plugin inspired by classic guitar combo amps. It offers gorgeous looks and lots of tonality for serious guitarists who demand a guitar amp plugin with versatility. The engine of this guitar amp plugin is carefully tuned to match the tone of authentic classic amps which truly sing to your playing style.

Amplifikation Vermilion packs everything that every guitarists difficult not to love: jangling cleans, raw tube saturation, springy reverb and that trippy tremolo circuit. The chimey and warm character with a bit of grit from the Clean Channel is great for country, soul, funk, blues, or most older "roots" music style, it even pulls some weight for your indie-pop tracks. The Lead Channel are able to deliver rich and fluid-overdrive leads for more modern style of rock, even heavier stuff to some degrees. Add intensity to your playing using the built-in tremolo unit which gives you pulsating sound that range from subtle & slow to head-spinning fast and add dimension to the whole sound with rich & lush analog-modeled spring reverb.

  • 3 Amp Types.
  • 2 Amp Channels: Clean and Lead.
  • Built-in FX: Tremolo with BPM sync and Spring Reverb.
  • 5 types of matching cabinets with 4 microphone types.

THIS THING ROCKS, .

I personally feel this is the most versatile Amp sim Amplifikation has out there, I'm pretty sure I have all of their amp sims, and they all sound good....but this one......when I heard this one, it actually made me look up at it with eyebrows raised, this one is clearly, and audibly the best sounding Amp they have put out to date in my opinion, nothing else sounds like it, I literally have thousands of dollars invested in amp sims, and this one stands alone, out of all of the ones I own, it is the first one that has made me pause, and look up, and say wow......no kidding....check it out....I have no doubt you'll agree.

Kuassa's Amplifikation Vermillion is a great sounding emulation of a vintage tube combo amp. Rather than emulating a specific amp, Vermillion, to my ears, does a nice job with a range of clean to crunchy tones reminiscent of a lot of Fender tube combos. The clean tone sounds nice and crisp like a Fender which I like - I don't think it does the sterile clean of a JC-20 nor does it do the brash jangle of an AC-30, but if you like Fender deluxe reverbs or Rivera amps, you will like this plugin. The Spring reverb sounds nice, the tremelo sounds good and is sync-able. The more distorted presets also sound pretty good to me. My only gripe is that there is not a ton of tweakability between the presets - the gain knob and the eq knobs don't affect the tone as much as a real amp, so you really need to explore the presets to find a sound you like, rather than tweaking from scratch. That said, I do really like the sound of this amp, especially for 60's inspired tracks or cleaner post-punk and indie sounds.
