Today I upgraded to the new ARC 2. After installation, I am now getting intermittent bursts of white noise. Can someone help me with this?
Jamesky: are you by any chance using an audio (FLAC, etc.) player with VST capability in DEMO mode? Some (e.g. DDMF) will do that (only in demo mode) until you register them.
Hi there, I'm having the same problem. It was working fine for a week or so, then tonight it started. Out of the blue. Did you have any luck solving this issue?
Cheers
I solved (created) my own problem. While running a profile for my studio, somehow the song file I was using in Studio One Pro got corrupted. The white intermittent noise I was hearing was in the song file I was mixing in two or three places. After finally realizing the "intermittent" noise was occurring in the same places, I zoomed in on the file and, sure enough, there was the white noise distortion. I deleted that file and imported the original virgin copy again. How crazy is that? Anyway, the new ARC 2 is a great upgrade. If you are having white noise problems, check the file you are working with. I can't explain it but it may have had something to do with having the recording program open while I ran the ARC 2 profile.
