BodeShifter. A Bode Frequency Shifter inside a digital delay.

Inspired by the Teenage Engineering OP1 CWO effect, we expanded on the functionality for even more fun. Unlike a pitch shifter, a frequency shifter shifts all frequencies linearly, causing the harmonic relationships between the frequencies to change, resulting in a change of timbre as well as pitch. Frequency-shifting feedback delay causes subsequent delays to keep rising or falling:

• Awesome on mono-timbral sources such as synths.
• Tune drum hits or percussion for unique tones.
• Sync to Tempo makes it easy to get killer results with drum loops and rhythmic percussion.
• Sound design perfect for suspense, horror, tension or otherworldly scenes.
• Create psychedelic effects by gradually shifting frequencies over time.
• Add depth and movement to ambient soundscapes and drone compositions.
• Great for unusual and experimental sounds.
• Create intentionally dissonant sounds by disrupting harmonic relationships.
• Interesting formant shifts in vocal recordings.
• Automate the digital delay time for creative pitch shifting effects.
