an entirely one-of-a-kind synth, does cymbals like nothing else i've heard (and that's just the start) - really pioneering stuff. donated and look forward to more from this developer.
anyone else getting GUI bugs?
Renoise 3.4.2 / Win10 is throwing this up:
Ouch. The VST3 plugin 'Uhhyou: ClangCymbal (from Uhhyou)' crashed in event, function or class: 'IPluginView', Thread: 'GUI'
IMPORTANT: This is a fatal error. Please save the current document under a !new! name to prevent losing important data. Renoise will silently ignore any following errors from this plug-in.
DO NOT IGNORE THIS ERROR; DO NOT CONTINUE USING THE PLUGIN. THIS CAN DESTROY YOUR SONG OR CAUSE OTHER RANDOM CRASHES AND PROBLEMS.
It's most likely that this is a bug in the VST3 plugin, so please also report this problem to the authors of this plugin in order to get the problem fixed.
EDIT - Thanks for the response Ryukau! I ensured the redistributable is up to date and unfortunately the problem persists. Interestingly the behaviour is similar to the problem described in Linux. It is reproducable by opening the and closing the GUI - the GUI loads OK 2 times then crashes on the 3rd open.
I experienced the same behaviour in FLStudio 10 however there are no issues with FLStudio 20.
I will keep an eye on the github - hopefully powerjungle's investigations bare fruit as your plugs are fantastic when I can get them running.

I recently got a report on GitHub, and it turned out that my plugins had a bug that crashes GUI on Renoise. Below is a link to the report.

Hi, Jack.
ClangCymbal is working fine here with Renoise 3.4.2 (x64, demo version) on Windows 10.
Perhaps C++ Redistributable is missing on your system. Try installing 'vc_redist.x64.exe' (or 'vc_redist.x86.exe' if you are on 32-bit system) in following link.
What a wonderful sound design tool. If you mess around can get some really interesting sounds here. From wonderful wood marimbas to deep metal bells, to hihats, to cymbals. Really interesting plugin! This developer (Takamitsu Endo) is amazing. Highly recommended.
