. 80s SOUND. PRESENCE. CLARITY
CleanBus, We could describe it as a processor of clarity and sharpness of the sound signal. Only he is able to gather everything necessary, to obtain an expressive sound, free of unpleasant frequencies. All professionals know what happens with the problem of sharpness, and the consequences that this entails in our productions.
Sharpness and glue, all on the same processor, and with just a few clicks. Everything you need on any track or bus to bring any instrument or voice to life.
In the 70s and 80s, many of the techniques that we use today in any production, regardless of style, were discovered.
Many of them have started by modifying the electronic circuit of the noise reduction processors. An alteration of its circuitry, in the compression-expansion stages, and in the "Pre-Emphasis and De-Emphasis" circuits produce an excitation of the high frequencies, very penetrating and that revitalizes any type of sound signal.
These techniques have always been used in parallel with the audio signal. So we can enrich the sound without squashing it.
CleanBus, apart from carrying out all these processes, does it in a double way, to be able to model all kinds of instruments with greater precision. By having two parallel exciters, we can control the medium-high and medium-low presence signal. The two are identical, but we can achieve any kind of adjustment with the "CHARACTER and DENSITY" controls and in this way assign each one a different timbre.
The filter selector located under the "INPUT" control carries out a process of adaptation and purification of the signal, thus achieving a pleasant response free of artifact frequencies, which are those that confuse and muddy what reaches our ears. But the most important thing is that this pair of exciters and the filter bank generate the professional sound that we all want in our productions.
A simple tool, destined for one of the most important tasks of your work "Wide and clean sound in mono and stereo".
It does not use synthetic mono-stereo expanders, only psychoacoustic processes that produce a sensation of sound extension.
