ROLA-78 is an accurate re-creation of the ROLAND CompuRhythm CR-78, a very influential drum machine released at the end of the 1970s.
Every sound has been meticulously sampled, some at multiple accent levels and with round-robin variations. All the original rhythms and variations have also been re-created.
Included are Kontakt snapshots that reproduce the rhythms and settings of famous songs that featured the CR-78.
Enhancements include an adjustable swing section, "free fills" that produces randomized fill-ins from snippets of the existing fill-ins, and a MIDI file recorder.
Requires Kontakt (FULL VERSION) 5.8.1 or higher.
A perfectly realised, easy to use Roland CR-78 CompuRhythm. To say that this is a brilliant Kontakt emulation with great attention to detail and beautiful GUI is probably understating it a bit. It's great to see Forgotten Keys back in the game and releasing such fantastic products. Recommended to anybody after a virtual CR-78.
