CompX-Wave is best for sculpting the sound of drums, bass, and synthesizers when recording individual tracks. However, CompX-Wave also excels at adding a particular sound or vibe to an entire mix.

CompX-Wave is not designed to be a non-intrusive compressor. CompX-Wave will add some color, distortion, clipping, movement or other artifact to the signal even at minimal settings. If you want crystal clear or transparent compression, please look elsewhere.
