Flarex

Flarex is a free stereo widening and imaging plugin for macOS. It widens and shapes the stereo field with mono-safe processing, a real-time vectorscope, and correlation-aware safety so the low end stays tight and phase-safe.

Width and imaging:

• Width (0–200%) — narrow toward mono, or widen with all-pass decorrelation that stays mono-compatible.
• Independent Mid and Side gain (±12 dB) to balance center vs. stereo content.
• Bass Mono — keeps everything below an adjustable crossover (20–500 Hz) centered and tight.
• Mono Check — fold to mono for a quick compatibility test without changing the output.

Stays phase-safe:

• Real-time correlation meter with mono-safe / caution / risk zones.
• Automatic phase-safety that eases width back if correlation goes negative.
• Hard-limit and NaN/Inf guards for speaker protection.

See the stereo field:

• Lissajous vectorscope with a cloud-density heatmap.
• Snapshot/ghost overlay to compare against a reference image.
• Input/output level metering.
