Frozen Bells (Cinematic Bell Instrument for Kontakt)

Frozen Bells is an atmospheric and expressive Kontakt Library featuring smooth and haunting Bell and Pluck Sounds, small but powerful, which are perfect for all kinds of production. What we've decided to do here is to approach the making of this library in a different way. We've sampled a real bell sound, and we've done a lot of post-production with it. Using a lot of addition synthetic sound we wanted to create a nostalgic, expressive and one of a kind instrument.

Frozen Bells requires the full version of Kontakt 6.0.4 and above to run, please do not purchase this if you intend to use it with Kontakt Player.

The instrument is divided into 4 layers. One layer will always be present, the core bell sound, which you can then add the other 3 layers and mix it however you like. Turn these layers on and off by clicking the ON/OFF switch at the bottom of the faders:

• Layer A – Soft but deep sounds. Use this layer if you want to add more body to the sound.
• Layer B – Slightly detuned and eerie sounding layer. Add this if you want to create a wide but mysterious tune.
• Layer C – The Noise layer with some deep effects. Add this if you want to give the sound a bit edge and sharpness.

The Effect Section is also divided into 3 parts. The 'Instrument Options' directly alters the sound. The 'Reverb and Delay' part adds these audio effect, and with the 'Amount' knob you can adjust the wetness. The Last part, simply called 'Effects', where you can further change the shape of the sound.
