KrushPro

KrushPro is an audio crusher with extensive timbral and modulation capabilities.

With 3 main fx modules at is heart, KrushPro largely expands the sonic territory of Krush. Here is a short description of those 3 modules:

1. Bitcrush: A crunchy drive stage, combined to bit depth and sample rate reductions. Works well for dirty digital effects and crunchy colours, and all the classic and weirdest bit-crushing effects in between.
2. Wavecrush: This fx substitutes and warps the successive audio chunks of your sounds. It brings in corrosive distortions, audio dislocations, and a world of digital artefacts.
3. Freq shift/Ring mod: For subtle tremolos, bell like timbre, or sci-fi effects. A button at the top right allows to switch this module between Frequency Shifting and Ring Modulation modes. The frequency shifter of KrushPro allows you to duplicate and shift your spectrum with 4 different frequency offsets at the same time. In a similar fashion, you can build the modulating signal of the ring modulator by additive synthesis, defining the gains of 4 overtones.

The order of those 3 modules can be redefined by drag-and-drop, and combined together they allow KrushPro to go far beyond the typical bitcrushing effects.

Two filters sections complete the audio palette with the warm options of the analog-modeled LP and HP filters and the ringing colour of a comb filter.

Stereo Modulations
The modulation system of KrushPro makes it of particular interest:

• Not only it includes 3 LFOs, 2 Step Sequencers, 1 Envelope Follower and 3 macros, but all those modulators are stereo.
• Each modulation slot has a balance parameter, and it is thus possible to modulate the parameters differently on the left and right channels, allowing the creation of unheard stereo effects.
• The modulators' parameters being themselves modulatable, KrushPro makes it possible to experiment freaky stereo modulations chains (like modulating a parameter with a stereo LFO whose frequency is modulated by a stereo Step Sequencer...).
