Naada Plucked Strings collects eight physically modeled plucked string instruments as native VST3 plugins for Windows, drawing from Indian classical, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Western acoustic traditions. The collection includes Saraswati Veena, Rudra Veena, Sitar, Sarod, Pipa, Acoustic Guitar (Steel), Oud, and Acoustic Bass. Each instrument is powered by AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling and supports polyphonic performance with continuous expressive control.

Runs as a VST3 plugin inside any compatible Windows DAW including Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. No additional host software required.

Naada Plucked Strings gathers eight instruments whose sonic identities are defined by the interaction of plucked strings with resonating bodies, sympathetic strings, and fretless or fretted fingerboards. The Indian classical tradition contributes the Sitar with its shimmering sympathetic strings and jawari bridge buzz, the Sarod with its bright metallic fretless fingerboard, and two Veenas: the Saraswati Veena of Carnatic music and the deep, meditative Rudra Veena of the Dhrupad tradition. The Chinese Pipa adds percussive tremolo and rapid melodic articulation. The Middle Eastern Oud delivers the warm, fretless resonance central to maqam-based music. The steel-string Acoustic Guitar and Acoustic Bass round out the collection with familiar Western timbres. Each instrument is generated by the AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling engine as a continuous acoustic simulation. All eight are fully polyphonic.

• Rudra Veena: Hindustani Dhrupad instrument with extraordinary bass depth, dual gourd resonators, and meditative sustain.

• Sarod: Fretless metal-fingerboard instrument with bright metallic attack, continuous portamento, and sympathetic string sustain.
• Pipa: Chinese four-stringed lute with percussive attack, rapid tremolo capability, and wide dynamic range.
• Acoustic Guitar (Steel): Steel-string acoustic with full body resonance, pick and fingerstyle attack character.
• Oud: Middle Eastern fretless lute with warm, resonant tone suited to maqam ornamental phrasing.
• Acoustic Bass: Hollow-body acoustic bass guitar with warm, woody tone and natural decay.

AccelMatrix Naada Physical Modeling

Every instrument in this collection is computed as a continuous acoustic event by the AccelMatrix Naada engine. String tension, body resonance, sympathetic string interaction, and pluck or pick dynamics evolve in real time based on performance input. Fretless instruments like the Sarod and Oud produce true continuous pitch glide; fretted instruments like the Sitar and Saraswati Veena model string-bending behavior between fret positions. Expressive multidimensional controls including Expression, Overblow, Growl, Flutter, and Harmonics are accessible through MIDI CC mapping, DAW automation lanes, or MPE-capable controllers.

Each Naada instrument runs as a native VST3 plugin inside any compatible Windows DAW: Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, Ableton Live, Studio One, and others. No additional host application is required. Each plugin includes its own interface with parameter controls, MIDI mapping configuration, and key switch articulation selection. Supports Windows 10 and Windows 11.
