Naada Reeds brings together nine physically modeled reed instruments as native VST3 plugins for Windows, spanning Western, Indian, Armenian, and Chinese traditions. The collection includes Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Duduk, Shehnai, Nadaswaram, Guan, and Suona. Each instrument is powered by AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling and supports polyphonic performance with continuous expressive control.

Runs as a VST3 plugin inside any compatible Windows DAW including Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. No additional host software required.

Naada Reeds assembles the broadest reed instrument palette in the Naada Windows catalog. Western single-reed voices include the Clarinet's chalumeau-to-clarion range and the Bass Clarinet's cavernous low register, alongside the Tenor Sax's warm jazz vocabulary and the Baritone Sax's deep, gruff foundation. The double-reed instruments span five distinct cultural traditions: the Armenian Duduk with its uniquely warm, vocal character that has become a staple of film scoring; the North Indian Shehnai with its bright ceremonial projection; the South Indian Nadaswaram, one of the loudest acoustic wind instruments; the Chinese Guan with its extreme pitch-bending flexibility from its in-mouth reed; and the Chinese Suona with its piercing, festive brass-belled power. Each instrument is generated by the AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling engine as a continuous acoustic simulation. All nine are fully polyphonic.

AccelMatrix Naada Physical Modeling

Every instrument in this collection is computed as a continuous acoustic event by the AccelMatrix Naada engine. Reed dynamics, embouchure pressure, air column behavior, and timbral coloration evolve in real time based on performance input. The register transitions that define each instrument's character (the clarinet's break between chalumeau and clarion, the duduk's breath-to-tone spectrum, the guan's extreme pitch flexibility) all respond continuously rather than switching between discrete sample layers. Expressive multidimensional controls including Expression, Overblow, Growl, Flutter, and Harmonics are accessible through MIDI CC mapping, DAW automation lanes, or MPE-capable controllers.

Each Naada instrument runs as a native VST3 plugin inside any compatible Windows DAW: Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, Ableton Live, Studio One, and others. No additional host application is required. Each plugin includes its own interface with parameter controls, MIDI mapping configuration, and key switch articulation selection. Supports Windows 10 and Windows 11.
