Hands down the Best OB-Xa emulation out here. Oozes the Oberheim 80's cem sound. This OPX Pro II, and OB-E (and SEM) and you got Oberheim shangri la.

Such an amazing plugin. All of Synapse Audio's Plugins sound abnormally good. They honestly have the best sounding plugins I have heard to date. 25 years of experience, and I say this firmly. Massive X sounds amazing too, but does not capture the work flow Synapse has. Top level audio quality, best filters and effects, best layout and UI, etc ? Well worth the $. I'm amazed Synapse isn't as praised as Xfer. I think Serum is fisherprice easy, thus... all the Ableton wHeRe Da WoBbLe guys use it. Anyway, DUNE 3 AND OBESSION ARE PHENOMENAL!.

I consider Obsession along with U-He's Repro to be the ultimate in virtual analogue synth plugins. It 'plays' and 'feels' like hardware and just feels alive in general. It's simple on the outside, as an analogue synth should be, yet deceptively deep when you start digging around with voice tuning and the step LFO's. It's a fantastically polished and well optimized piece of software with a surprisingly minimal footprint when it comes to taxing your system too.

Excellent synth and great emulation.

I really love this synth. Very analog and warm sounding, but also can sound crystal clear.

Low CPU use and very high quality sounding. The presets are not for me, but I started to make sounds myself from scratch and the results are stunning.

Synapse Audio is my number one developer. Great stuff, all of it! Highly recommended.

Few VSTs really do a great job of emulating their hardware counterparts, but Obsession is almost 100% on point and even goes beyond. Basses are incredibly fat, the leads / pads are very lush, and its also incredibly easy to program. The GUI is really well designed, and the onboard effects are of incredible quality. Will be using this synth for years to come.
