Pan Filter Tool

Pan Filter Tool (PFT) is a multi filter plugin that allows you to modulate filters in each audio channel differently. It has four macros and four modulators that can be applied to nearly every parameter in the plugin. This combination offers you the the power and flexibility to sculpt your sound in new and exciting ways.

Stereo Filters

PFT's standout feature is it's stereo filters. The parameters for each of the filters can be adjusted to different values for each of the listener's ears. The first of the prominent triple sliders is the base parameter. It controls the filter parameter directly. The second slider is the skew slider. It offsets the parameter value between left and right audio channels. The third slider multiplies the skew. This lets you easily control the stereo spread of your filters.

Heavily Modulatable

Another aspect of PFT that separates it from the rest is its comprehensive modulation scheme. Nearly every single parameter in the plugin can be modulatable by any combination of PFT's four macros and four modulator slots. Each modulator slot can be set to an LFO, step sequencer, MIDI mapper, ADSR envelope generator, envelope follower, or chaos modulator. The parameters in each modulator can also be modulated.

Filter Routing

For more complex sound design tasks PFT offers a full filter router. Create signal flows in serial, parallel, or anything in between. As with everything in PFT the filter router is fully modulatable letting you create dynamic signal flows. If flexibility is important for your sound design process you'll find this feature to be especially exciting.
