Wow this reverb is something else, its phenomenal for sound design but also a superb reverb with heavenly shimmer effect, I have yet to try out the echo section more but for now putting it one a synth and just going through the presets and twisting some knobs gives me instant great result. This is my first plugnin from auditory, and they seem to do a exceptional job updating their plugins, every update seems to add more stuff to the table.

Lovely sound
Possiblity to go very in depth.

Sound is lovely but still a bit grainy
can get bit out of control.

After evaluating seeming dozens of Reverb's including the free EMT 140 that came with my Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo and wishing that the guys at FabFilter had a Reverb offering I settled on Audiority's Polaris to widen the effect I can get from a Reverb. While the EMT 140 is great, working quick with it as a VST is a pain due to the awkwardness of moving between presets. My DAW's built-in Reverb is okay but presets are limited and I need to spend too much time tuning it.

With Polaris I have 30 presets with a few dedicated to Echo and the rest Reverb which allows me to test some pretty dynamic effects without getting lost in hundreds of possibilities, but I have a wide enough range of sound so I can get close to something I want and then start fine tuning. With the cost of Polaris at only $45 it's a great effect to have close at hand for noob like me who is just starting to get a tiny part of their brain around the complexity of creating electronic music. I gave it eight stars because of limited presets and would rate it 10 with the addition of another 20 presets. I really like this plugin.
