Purix

Purix is a free dynamic resonance removal plugin for macOS. It analyzes your audio in real time, finds the harsh peaks, boxy build-ups and ringing frequencies, and applies narrow, dynamic cuts that follow each resonance and back off when it's gone.

Five processing modes:

• Clean — broadband resonance removal across the spectrum.
• Vocal — focused on 1–8 kHz for sibilance and harshness.
• Drum — focused on 200 Hz–2 kHz for boxiness and ring.
• Master — gentle broadband processing for the mix bus.
• Harmonic — pitch-tracking suppression that protects the musical harmonics while removing inharmonic noise.

Dial it in, or let it learn:

• Depth, Sensitivity and Speed set how much it cuts and how fast it reacts, with Attack, Hold and Release for fine control.
• A Learn function analyzes a few seconds of audio and sets a starting point automatically, with one-click undo.
• Low Cut and High Cut focus processing on the range that needs it.
• Optional Unmask sidechain ducking to open space for another source.

See and hear the cleanup:

• A real-time spectrum analyzer with resonance markers and a gain-reduction overlay.
• Click the spectrum to solo any frequency band and hear it in isolation.
• A Delta monitor to hear only what Purix is removing.
• Frozen before/after snapshots for direct comparison.

• Selectable processing quality (Eco / Standard / High).
• FFT-based processing with latency reported to the host for accurate delay compensation.
