The Quantum Room Simulator is a true algorithmic stereo reverb, inspired by and building upon the legacy of the legendary German Room Simulator.
The Quantum Room Simulator excels at enveloping the source with an incredibly natural sense of depth and realism. The Quantum Room Simulator offers impeccably modeled analog character as well as many new features including expanded presets based on real-world rooms:
The Quantum Room Simulator utilizes a unique and novel approach that makes it fundamentally different than the vast majority of reverb processors. By modeling the inherent resonances of a space, the room simulator provides all of the psychoacoustical cues necessary to create a believable room that follows the laws of physics, resulting in reverb that envelopes the source with an incredibly natural sense of depth and realism.

From the moment I loaded the Quantum Room Simulator onto my master bus, I knew I'd found something special. As someone who's tried countless reverbs over the years, this one immediately stood out for its remarkable depth and character.
What impressed me most was how it transformed even the flattest recordings into three-dimensional spaces. Working on a vocal track that felt lifeless, I applied the "Small Wood Room" preset with minimal tweaking, and suddenly the voice sat in a convincing, natural space that felt like an actual room rather than an effect.
The seven room algorithms each have their own distinct personality. The smaller settings excel at creating intimate spaces without muddying the source, while the larger algorithms (especially the Taj Mahal setting) create expansive atmospheres without sounding artificial. The freeze function has become essential for creating evolving ambient textures in my productions.
The 10kHz bandwidth option is perfect for emulating vintage recordings, adding a gentle patina that tames digital harshness. I've found myself using this on drum buses to create that elusive "glue" that's so hard to achieve with most digital reverbs.
