I fell in love with this plugin from first use. I tried many different gates for voice-over tasks with average results. But this one really does the job perfectly. Graphical display is very helpful for making correct settings. Renegate is all you need for cleaning voice tracks. Thank you for this awesome plugin.

One of the best Gate/Expander VST that's also free (limited).
Use it to remove background noise or be creative and add a 'pumping' effect to your track.

This is not bad for a free plugin. Easy to use, and I like the attack and release knobs (something often not included in somefree trancegates / trigger gates). But why on Earth does this not have a mix knob? Sure, I can set it up as a send effect and then mix that with the original signal, but meehhh... why? Trance Gate Plugin by Kilohearts and A1TriggerGate by Alex Hilton / A1AUDIO (both free) both have mix knobs, and TriggerGate also has attack / release so I'll probably just use that one 90% of the time. It's a shame, because the ability to use 1/4, 1/8, 1/32, 1/64 and 1/128 is pretty cool, and that's probably the only time I'd consider using this.
Add a mix knob, please.
