An analog-modeled chorus / vibrato built around BBD motion, compander behavior, tempo-syncable modulation, and movement that stays organic instead of plastic.
REPUN is the modulation-focused branch of the Yukar Series. It is aimed at movement that feels deliberate and tonal, with enough shape to support both clean arrangement work and more unstable, dreamlike textures.
Its voice comes from a BBD-style approach rather than a clean digital modulation line: band-limited delay behavior, compander contour, and waveform instability all contribute to the end result. That keeps REPUN useful on guitars and keys, but also gives it enough character for pads, drones, and slower melodic layers.
Clean chorus: Use a slower RATE, medium DEPTH, MIX toward chorus, and a small amount of BREEZE for width without haze.
Synth thickener: Push DEPTH and keep the motion smooth for broader pad and string textures.
Vibrato color: Move MIX fully toward vibrato, reduce DEPTH slightly, and let RATE carry the movement.
Organic drone: Turn BREEZE up and slow the LFO for unstable, living motion on held material.
BBD-style sampler and stage behavior are part of the sound, so REPUN moves with analog weight instead of generic modulation gloss.
Compander-style dynamics help shape the characteristic density and breathing associated with classic chorus hardware.
BREEZE blends regular motion with unstable drift, so REPUN can move from clean chorus to more living vibrato textures.
Sync support and a dry-to-chorus-to-vibrato morph make it usable in both traditional and more experimental arrangements.
REPUN is built from a BBD-minded signal path that includes band-limiting, compander character, and waveform drift as part of the musical result. Instead of sounding like a clean digital modulation layer pasted onto the source, it aims to feel embedded in the tone.
REPUN is built around the idea that modulation should shape the emotional surface of a sound, not just animate it. Chorus and Vibrato are treated as tools for width, instability, and tone color.
REPUN is shaped around the image of flowers moving in the wind across the native alpine gardens of Rebun Island. That gentle but never perfectly still motion became the core of the plug-in's voice, with chorus drift and the BREEZE control both leaning into the feeling of living movement rather than rigid modulation.
