Spectral Synthesizer

The GCS Spectral Synthesizer is an additive spectral synthesizer. Unlike traditional subtractive synthesizers, its core is the Spectral Canvas, where you can directly draw the harmonics of your patch, paint spectrally-shaped noise, and sculpt your timbre with a brush.

In addition to manually painting harmonics, you can create new sounds by dragging and dropping audio samples or even image files to create playable, evolving instruments. A standard subtractive synth engine is also included, allowing more traditional sounds as well. While its engine is digital, most of its elements have analog modeling, offering everything from subtle tape warble and pitch drift to rich saturation for sounds that are more organic and less sterile than typical digital synths.
