Sphere is an easy to use and free reverb plugin that can add depth and live to any sound material.
The reverb is based on a modified Schroeder reverberator with added predelay and supports stereo channels only.
The plugin UI has been created using vector graphics and supports blur free resizing.


  • Simple controls for reflection, damping and width of the room.

  • Predelay with up to 250 ms with optional filtered feedback path.

  • Separate dry and wet levels.

After using Sphere for some months, I disagree with Orsteam's review. It looks like too cursory of a look. I can get with this free plugin, some of the effects that I paid $$ to get in Adaptiverb but for free. This VST has some real potential in the future, and usable high quality results now in our professional workflow.

The sound reminds me of the late 90-th DirectX reverbs (something like Freeverb or Hyperprism).

Looks poorly, keeping in mind Sonicbits Exakt, which sounds really nice, on my opinion.

Thank you for this plugin! Have been using version 1 since it was released and like it, yet the 1.2 update fails in Waveform 11 for me, where it sees the updated dll files (both VST a& VST3) and tries to install them, yet fails. Looks like a compile error or a missing support file. Just guessing here.

Tracktion has a utility named PluginVal, which is great for doing detailed testing of VSTs. The Sphere dlls fail this test immediately with the following error:
