Fabric XL is the sonic powerhouse virtual instrument from the award-winning MPC & FORCE Standalone/Desktop Platforms – now available in your DAW. The Fabric Collection delivers lush pads, drone and synth basses, 808 vibes, cutting edge leads, silky Rhodes, pianos and articulated strings.

To save on system resources, the Fabric Collection offers users several plugins that have the same great sounds but with lower resource requirements. Fabric, Fabric Piano, and Fabric Electric Piano are great ways to access incredible sounds without having to load the full plugin:

• Fabric: The same sound choices as Fabric XL but with fewer voices and lower standalone system resource requirements.
• Fabric XL: The flagship synth powerhouse, this is the "best of the best" in terms of sound engine and voice count.
• Fabric Piano: A bespoke version of Fabric focusing on easy-to-find piano sounds with lower system resource requirements.
• Fabric Electric Piano: A bespoke version of Fabric focusing on easy-to-find electric piano sounds with lower system resource requirements.

Fabric Collection is designed to support VST 2 and VST3 Plugin hosts as well as full support for AU, AAX, and MPC/FORCE Standalone systems. This software requires an internet connection to authorize. You will need to install Akai's MPC desktop software version 2.11 or higher to use desktop versions of the plugins.
