THE_STRIP 2 is the next-generation evolution of Phil Speiser's workhorse channel strip plugin. It takes the successful formula of the original—a streamlined, all-in-one mixing tool—and expands it with new features, enhanced flexibility, and an even more refined workflow. THE_STRIP 2 is designed to be a complete and comprehensive solution for processing individual tracks and buses, incorporating a host of user-requested features to make it more powerful than ever. It combines an equalizer, multiple compressors, a saturator, a gate, and more, into a single, cohesive unit.

This new version features a significantly upgraded EQ section with more bands and greater control. A major enhancement is the inclusion of multiple, distinct compressor models, allowing you to choose between different styles of dynamic control, such as a clean modern VCA or a punchy FET-style compression. The saturation module is also expanded with more algorithms for a wider tonal palette. A brand new, fully-featured noise gate/expander has been added for cleaning up tracks and tightening up percussive elements. The plugin's modular design allows you to reorder the processing chain (e.g., EQ before or after compression), providing a level of flexibility typically found in much more complex plugins.
