Torchit

Torchit is a free saturation and drive plugin for macOS. Four analog-style characters take it from subtle warmth to aggressive, club-ready grit, all through a simple, visual interface with a live transfer curve that shows the shape you're dialing in.

Four saturation characters:

• Warm — smooth, musical drive.
• Grit — aggressive, asymmetric edge.
• Tube — triode-style preamp weight.
• Tape — magnetic compression and glue.

A Hard / Medium / Soft Knee and per-mode Drive set how hard it bends, and oversampling (Draft 4× / HQ 8×) keeps it clean when you push.

Protects your low end and headroom.

Auto-Gain keeps levels honest as you drive, a soft-clip ceiling guards the output, and a DC blocker preserves headroom after heavy saturation. The Delta monitor solos exactly what Torchit adds to the signal — phase-aligned, for an honest null.
