The UltraViolet EQ is a four-band, dual-mono/stereo equalizer. Each mid-band has a sweepable frequency control, a +/- 9dB gain control, and a 'Focus' switch. The Focus switch narrows the Q (bandwidth) of the selected band, transforming it from a broad, musical tool into a precise, surgical instrument perfect for notching out problem frequencies or highlighting specific resonant characteristics of a sound.
