Virtual Audio Stream is a CD-quality virtual loopback audio driver together with a dedicated VST effect rack.

The driver makes up to four stereo cables available for routing audio between applications. The effect rack processes up to four soundcards in parallel with arbitrary chains of VST effects. This way, all audio playing on the user's PC can be treated with VST effects. It's also easy to record signals from videos/DVDs etc., using either a VST recording plug-in or a standalone recording software.

There are three purchasing options:

  1. The virtual loopback driver alone is available for $29.
  2. The driver plus the effect rack for $49.
  3. The driver plus the rack plus DDMF's IIEQPro, NYCompressor and NoLimits plug-ins for $99.

Easy to use. Works rerouting with asus sonar essence st card.

But only 44100hz and 16-bits.

Problemes with convolver VST and more than stereo outputs.

No Updates ?

Bye.

Update
I just added this to my Rack (pun intended) and it's working fine on 48kHz.
The previous comment is from 2014.

Very useful to be able to bang a VST on the Stream Audio.
Even works with Voicemeeter Potato if you switch VM off before booting VAS then boot VM back up.
