The renowned company ESP* designed and built the original bass, the LTD B-404SM — a noble instrument that Pfundstein Audio Plugins have meticulously sampled and transformed into a MIDI instrument. You can now use this virtual bass in your music production.

The bass features a progressive neck-through-body design, intricate inlays, and active electronics. All electronics and pickups are made by EMG, delivering a rich, clear tone. The body is crafted from swamp ash with a stunning spalted maple top, complemented by a 5-piece maple and walnut neck. The fretboard is made of rosewood.

When Pfundstein Audio Plugins transformed the original bass into a MIDI instrument, they stayed true to their philosophy of keeping things simple and user-friendly.
