Again: very very helpful! It also sounds a lot like what I am going through, I switched from Cubase to Tracktion as well, threw out all the stuff I don't need and am trying to set up a small but effective setup.sonicsmurf wrote:Slacknote wrote: I want things to remain compact and simple, otherwise I would not have switched from Cubase to Tracktion. My story was that my creativity and joy for making music was pretty much ruined over the years -- simply because I worked with all these things that gave me thousands of possibilities all the time. But I have learned that if I find compact concepts, the results are way better.
I was talking about the aud send and returns in Tracktion itself, but appearently you're not using them.
As for the Ruffrider kit, I tried to get it to work in a demo version of BS-1 but so far I've only managed to get the cymbals working. The rest produced some weird clicks, is it me or the demo version of BS-1? Will try again later.
Again your approach appeals to me!
