The beta version of the v1.4 software for Receptor has been deemed of release quality and is now the official v1.4 release. If you have already installed the beta version you do not need to update again.

Version 1.5 beta should be available soon, complete with UniWire support. (Don't ask me for a date as I don't know - when Dan says it's ready ;) ).

Tim, Did Cameleon work for you in 1.4? It did for me but I had to up the audio buffer for it to load.

Also, do you run M42 in unison with other plugins? I'm having a horrible time with crackling. I just talked to Rick at Muse (those guys are so friendly and helpful) and he said he was going to call you about M42. I'm new to the Receptor and could use a little help with what to do and not to do. Is M42 hard on the CPU? I was surprized that it could be pegging the CPU so fast that the GUI gauge doesn't show it. Maybe the GUI needs a reset button like the channel strips?

Maybe I should post in another area? Dang newbies.
Death to all dongles!

well..still have to install the new beta, so hang on.

and yeah..SE plugs in general use CPU if your playing full chords, ect, so you can really only layer maybe two ( 3 tops) SE plugs at once. However Synth 1 you can a lot!! For my M42 multi's , I can usually layer say a wusik or EVE piano and a M42 RYM or PAD and have it sound great.

well...just had a weird install experience.

First tried it..said it failed. Then cleared out the cache and tried it again..it installed 100%, then it said it failed. Then rebooted, and then went into recovery mode.It came up, and it looks like the version installed as the 1.4 is there with all the new featres in the setup window..so i guess I am OK.

Guess if it worked on my receptor, it should work on ANY of them!! LOL!!
