Ok - like I say, I've only had some indirect experience through samples and I couldn't get the filter characteristics close - but if there's anyone that can, you're the man...!

While my bathroom is being smashed to smithereens by my next-door neighbour (!), I just tried emulating the Virus filter models (and Analog Boost, BTW). I can get them so close, I bet Urs was checking his models against the ones in the Virus while writing Zebra

Edit: Just cloned my old Virus sound "Andromda HS" 99.9%

(patch D0 in Virus C, dunno where in the other Virus models)

Can you do a little audio clip of that if you get a sec?

Also, does that patch use heavy resonance, as in my case that was one I had difficulty replicating...?

I sold my TI and switched to Z2 after realizing it can do anything the Virus can do. I miss the beautiful key action of the 61key version and buttery smooth knobs, but in terms of sound, Z2 can easily match and surpass the Virus. The XMF filter sounds remarkably similar to the Moog emulated one in the TI. Yes I know they're modelled on the same design, but in terms of raw sound they are VERY close IMO.

Hehe. Don't worry Klemperer...Like I said, still gotta finish the Albino 3 and z3ta+ set updates...that's got higher priority in my pro-sounds agenda (taking over the world of course

), so it'll be a few months before I can dive into zebra...and it's pretty complex, so I'll need a few weeks to really dive down into it and figure out what I wanna do.

No no no! lol, they are still on the list. I work on them from time to time when I get tired of working with Albino.

I'll post some mp3s of those in another thread when I can.
