I struggle to hear any effect when using the quantize function for values above 50 and most of the useful range seems to be below 25. Might an exponential scale be more useful here?

Were there any presets in the demo? Just wondering I DLd the Mac version and I didn't see any so I was wondering if my install was screwed up? :?:

In Diva, is it possible to approximate the Minimoog's "Modulation Mix" control? i.e. The modulation source is the output of LFO, noise generator, or a mix of the two?

nope... no included presets... quite few have been uploaded by users at this point though

Why not? :) How about starting a new thread for that?
Yeah!

Here got it ready: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4731192

Ingonator,
I had found it myself earlier, but thank you letting me know about this link for Diva patches:

Thanks for the reply. I did that, but I still don't get it. In Modifications, I see Noise as an input, but not as a modulation source for Filter Cutoff and Osc Pitch. Could you give me another hint please?

Has anybody requested DIVA to work as an FX plugin? I would love to trigger the filters on incoming audio events, using the fast envelopes and awesome LFO's. Getting to use the nice onboard effects of DIVA would be a nice little bonus.

.. or would it be a problem to implement? If so, then perhaps consider a separate upgrade or new product which is a filter bank (I know you have one already with zebra but still, DIVA magic in a filter plugin with emulated envelopes and such would be awesome).

Cheers!

Urs has said that he's considering it, but I get the feeling that it's not high priority right now (what with the Zebra update, Uhbiks, Berlin Modular...).

Too bad, because a Diva-based filter bank + fx unit would be a killer product.

Only URS can answer this but I wouldn't be surprised if the oscillator calculations are in the same routine as the filter and couldn't be seperated?

Please prove me wrong because I'd love a filterbank based on diva's filters!

There will probably a FX version of DIVA in the future :)
But not yet! There is a good reason for that (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the reason here).

Too late, spill the beans, mister Bronto! :hihi:
So a FX unit will be coming soon, eh?

That would be Divine! :hihi:

What a lovely synth!
But the sync of lfo 1&2 does't feel tight ! Please make it super tight.

Keep it coming,,,

All the best,,
