Yes, an integrated arp/sequencer would be great! :-)

How about a chord memory button, as per the Alpha Junos?

+1 on chord memory button

MultiCore is a hassle. It works, but it does not scale nicely. 8 cores just so double the number of voices. We need to invest considerably more time in it, and possibly rewrite large parts of the core engine.

I'll try that after 1.0, and then maybe add it to a subsequent .x release.

Once that is done we can think about Arps and Sequencers as these may heavily depend on the voice scheduling algorithm.

Regarding GPUs, Clemens has done some promising experiments in his spare time. We might be able to add this in future, but like MultiCore support, it isn't anything that's quickly implemented, nor a be all end all solution.

If u-he goes for it, please don't forget ATI Stream tech...

If we go for it then we probably go OpenCL to stay cross platform.

As usual, the correct answer. :tu:

I'm looking forward to Howard's presets more than any of the functionality requests.

Hey Urs, any chance of the ring mod getting into the Eco Osc from the MS-20 Osc?

thanks :)

I still wonder if there might be a tb-303 OSC and filter later on in Berlin Modular? I ask because i own an FR-777 which is like a 4 osc 303 in some ways. a bass machine. DIVA almost replaces that for me, but i enjoy the 303 feel a lot.

Getting off topic, but the FR-777 is awesome! Way to own one!

ya it's kind of crazy.. i enjoy having it, but at the same time it is worth too much for the way that i use it.. i love just jamming on it, but of course if i want to record then it has to warm up and get tuned for each session..

Isn't it there?

(it still lacks a switch to use Osc1 square wave or whatever other wave is chosen in Osc1 - the original MS-20 hardware always uses Osc1 square, while the Korg software versions use whatever waveform is selected)
