Where can I find more info on automation & cable destinations?aMUSEd wrote:One thing I like about the cables is they are automatable which means in my Kore template I can cycle through all available connections for each cable using one knob. I use this a lot when designing patches (which is why I have made over 200 of them so far)
One of the nicest things about ACE...

Never mind, I figured it out. And that is pretty cool!UncleAge wrote:Where can I find more info on automation & cable destinations?aMUSEd wrote:One thing I like about the cables is they are automatable which means in my Kore template I can cycle through all available connections for each cable using one knob. Yeah, I love doing all kind of crazy feedbacks until small tweaks change the sound in rather unpredictable ways.ariston wrote:... while I was doing it. Yes it's quite amazing isn't it? and I have 20 of them for my modular. Took me a long time to convince the bank it was worth it but in the end a simple A/B test on a sine-wave won them over. They said "My golly it's so stunningly obvious now!" and gave me the $400,000 right there.Gonga wrote:"The crazy thing is, that even on a whole system costing less than a single pair of Odin interconnects the benefits are so stunningly obvious!"Aiynzahev wrote:Well I hate to break it to you but in all honesty unless you are using these cables

you are really not getting a really high quality sound and just wasting your time.
The whole system actually costs less than the cables! For real?

It's extra cool in Kore because I can also morph between different patches with different cable routings due to this feature. So I can create up to 8 different patch variations and then explore all the sound spaces in between them.UncleAge wrote:Never mind, I figured it out. That's truly awesome! I picked up Kore just before NI announced its end, so I haven't invested time into learning it. But I have mixed feelings, it really is an amazing tool.aMUSEd wrote:It's extra cool in Kore because I can also morph between different patches with different cable routings due to this feature.
