25 Presets in .fxp format for ZRev - part of U-He Zebra.

Not many patches for ZRev out there so I thought I'd offer 25 of mine that I created a while ago. Many of them focus on comb-like effects, therefore the name.

Hint: Especially changing the "Size" parameter can drastically change the tone, so be sure to play with that.

My personal favorite is "TH_InTheBarrel" ...

All the presets are free to use and abuse.

Enjoy :-)

Edit: Hey aMUSEd - just tried yours - Love especially "Drifting"
Playing "Another Tine another Space" from Zebra with all effects disabled into that endless space is magic :-)
Hey thanks (x2) I just noticed this.

Urs is there any way I can convert these and my own bank to aupresets now I'm on Mac?

Post

Actually I just realised the version in the patch lib is old - there are now 19 patches:

You can load them with the drop down on the edit display when they're in the root preset folder...

Thanks - I did have them in that one but in their own folders - I see now it doesn't support the folders

Thank you for fix the Padsheaven link Brian!

Now it's up again and shinier than before!

Sorry to be thick.. How do I load the ZRev presets into Logic Pro? I am able to add ZRev and Zebrify. Zebrify has the familiar 'Patches" tab, and i was able to figure out how to drop Zebrify presets there... but ZRev is not so friendly? What am I missing?

Thanks for the help

I don't know how to convert them into AU presets, but if you put the fxp presets into the root folder of your ZRev presets folder (no sub-folders-allowed), you can select them from the central dropdown inside of ZRev (in the middle where it says "ZRev 2.5.4 registered to ...".

Hi, can I request an edit to the description on my soundset? (Zebra-nautic Revolution)

It currently says: "24 sample patches from the commercial soundset Zebra-nautic Revolution."

I'd like it to be edited to say:

"24 sample patches from the commercial soundset Zebra-nautic Revolution, featuring many that can be used for hybrid electronic-organic songs. Important Note: please read the patch delivery details if you decide to get the full 180 patches!!"

Wow, very, very nice!!! Great music and great sounds. :)

i guess I just logged in to complain... My gripe is that it always seems like everybody's selling their Zebra patches. Back in my Nord Modular using days, people would freely share/discuss interesting patches. Is anyone really buying all these patch sets? New patches are nice, but I can make my own.

edit: I do love Zebra, no complaints about that. :)

@Quinn, back in my presets and banks are finally exportable days, only a complete fool would sell or give away his best sounds. So, if you did buy a bank off somebody, you could be sure they were all or mostly table scraps or sloppy seconds. You ask if anybody actually buys patch sets? Me, generally only if they are free. Or maybe on sale, I mean, might as well be free. There is an exception to this, though. There are a couple of soundbank designers I support. But that's only after I get to know them, know their track record, what their deal is -- things like that. I will not think twice about paying a fair price for real genius. Saves my butt, too, because time is a huge factor having guitar and other duties getting in the way. Some of these guys are highly skilled and reputable, but this 'market' has been invaded by hundreds of wannabees, of course. Every kid now buys a synth and thinks he's a patch designer.
