Choosing loop points

Maybe I've missed something but I do not find it easy to create good loop points.

I think that my problem is that I cannot see the waveforms of both the start and end points at the same time in high precision; zooming in to see the wave form leads to much scrolling forwards and backwards. And I find the scrolling a bit clunky, so I overshoot the desired destination.

It would help a lot to have two waveform views side by side, so that I could see both positions at once. Perhaps something like:

Even better would be overlaid images showing the waveforms. Such as done in ExSC:

In the lower panels, the left-hand waveforms are those at the end of the loop with the waveforms at the start of the loop shown faintly. And the right-hand waveforms are those at the start of the loop with the waveforms at the end of the loop shown faintly. You can see that it not quite right yet.

I can drag either left or right side to line things up perfectly:

Yep, Kontakt does it like that and it's extremely easy to do loops. It's quite bothersome to do loops in TX16Wx as it is right now.

Guys, with all the stuff you ask from me, I should make you go out and forcibly recruit licensed users for me! ;-)
Since I am however a wonderfully generous person, I'm implementing an overlay display for loop editing. Nothing magical, but you will see the respective loop points counterpart data in a dynamic overlay on the wave display, somewhat akin to the exsc view.

+1

And, I'm going to guess, we already have recruited some
;)
