Crash-protection for VST plugins doesn't restore state?

It's better than losing something you're working on because the plug-in crashed the whole DAW.

This would be amazing, but i doubt its a bug.. may not even be possible.. like with Ableballz crashing, when it reloads your recovered project, the synth will have reset..

Ahh bummer . Still 10x better than what Ableton does when it crashes and restores.

However I wouldn't want to give up on the idea that BitWig is capable of actually restoring to even "last saved state"
