Note length in DS2

Afaik DS ignores the duration of notes thrown at it. While this is reasonable if you see it as a drum synth (although it wouldn't hurt if there were a button to activate this - to have a simple way to add variation to a sequence) I think this is a very unfortunate flaw as soon as you toggle on keyboard mode.
In keyboard mode DS is actually a great sounding, polyphonic synth with a wide variety of possible sounds due to its many synthesis models. They only thing missing is to be able to play them with different lengths.
From an outside point of view at least it looks like it should be pretty trivial to add this feature to the software. But for us users this would increase the value of DS tremendously and it could convince quite some extra people to get out their credit cards just for such a soft synth...

Hi Pure,
We'll be adding this to the next update. It is pretty trivial to be honest. There was a similar feature in V1 although that involved toggling a 'one shot' mode button on each envelope. We'll be changing that to a simple 'one shot/sustain' toggle for the entire pad.
Should be good for keyboard mode but also bass sounds too.
Thanks!

I just purchased DS2 and was looking for this feature as well - nice to hear that it will be added soon. This is also a very handy feature for drum sounds, like when you want to sequence snare sounds with slightly different lengths, without having to automate the decay time.
