I strongly contradict! I guess you write code more time of the day than producing music and songs? Daily DAW work is heavily relying on preset management. I HAVE to know the preset I am using. Not knowing the preset has always been one weak part of the Melda plugs. Just saying that Melda is different from anything is really a bad excuse.MeldaProduction wrote: Now, sorry, but the preset name is just irrelevant.
I mean, other plugs dont show the names just for fun. It has evolved as best practice.
And you contradict yourself if you defend some text as needed for clarity and you dismiss other important text for the sake of space saving. Or at least you have a very special opinion on what's important text and what not. I say the preset name is a million times more important than "bypass" or "settings".
Hm I can't imagine how that would look like. There could be a collapsible pannel below the title, that would show it, but there is NO other place.
I mean, why not use the space between plugin name and preset button? You could shorten the names to a max size in case of a narrow window? That's how other plugs do it. No plug displays a 255 charakter preset name in full
