I think overall B2 is my favorite though. I'm surprised it hasn't come up more in this thread. Some people say it's CPU intensive, which can be true, but it can also be very light. I find lowering the quality still results in great results.
Something about those NI versions that I just love. I think if you have an idea how to use reverb, they do about as nice a job as any. If everyone remembers, I tried to hate them and it was fail.

@b2: those guys were really popular for a while and then now I don't really hear much. Pretty expensive. It would have to lay waste to anything and everything.

BTW, why the f**k can't you play the different examples on that page? :?

What page? The B2 page? You can.

I agree they are pretty expensive. Plus they don' tallow resale after one sale and cost $50 to transfer. This kind of policy just won't win people over considering how many options there are.

I couldn't get it to play.

Tried the toraverb and it's too modulationy for my taste. Not a bad verb.

I've always been a little interested in these, based on the audio samples I've heard, and their interfaces, but really don't need any more reverbs. I'm hoping that they're included in K10 Standard, though.

It's got a lot of flexibility but the presets didn't sound anything like Stian's example and it took me a while to get it to sound like that. The good side is it's highly tweakable, the bad side is it's highly tweakable.

Yeah I got them with Komplete Ultimate when I upgraded so I didn't really pay that much attention to them. Tried them, thought they were nice, but I already had ValhallaRom and VintageVerb, Aether and B2 at the time. How many reverbs can you really get to know? So although I thought they sounded great, they didn't become go-to reverbs for me. Lately I've been trying them more and am finding I like them as much as VVV (although the new smooth algos are great in VVV).

So once again I'm reevaluating my reverbs (seems on-going process) and realizing I'd pretty happy with just the NI RC verbs and B2 as go-to algos. Plus reverberate for Convolution and Shimmer for real-time adjustment reverb. I think I could do without Aether I'm not even sure I need VVV. But this crazy idea will probably change as it always does when you use different source material and think "no this is the only reverb I need!".

EDIT: As I suspected, it's a new day and now VVV is sounding better to me than anything else. Can't get rid of that one!

What kind of reverb does Massive have? Amazing sound... wish it could be used as an fx insert... But maybe it wouldn't sound as good with other audio sources :scared: haha

I think it might be bc everyone who has it is busy making great music with it (and with Aether and Breeze) instead of writing posts in web forums... All of our verbs are used daily on thousands of productions around the world and are heard by millions of people on the radio, film, TV, games, etc. etc.

We are still going quite strong, and have only been quiet here while finishing our new (not reverb related) product... Sometimes you have to put your head down and be a little anti-social to do great work. I know, sounds strange in the twitter/FB/web days, but I still believe it... We will emerge from the relative silence very soon now... :tu:

Trying "verberate" right now. It's good. I get scratchy sounds when trying to adjust the eq. It's a hungry little bugger.

Yes, I'm liking it a lot but I have to raise my buffers to 512 when I use it.

+1 for NI RC48. I absolutely love this reverb, especially for small to medium rooms.

Before IK's CSR went x64, I was looking for something to replace it and RC-48 was the closest I came. Great sounding, IMHO.

But then CSR went x64, and I went back to it just because the Hall verb is so lush. Until Cubase came up with Revelation (or whatever it's called) included in 7.5. Amazing, lush and integrated with Cubase. My current go-to.

Isn't it just Hall and Random Hall algorithms? I do love the initial adjustable reflections though, pretty useful to dial in some discrete early reflections. I love the RC24 Room algorithm though, very smooth.

the CSR hall is nice. I'm not sure why but I didn't care for the IK's much way back. Who knows why
