Ive been using Valhalla Room a lot since I got it. Very flexible, easy to use GUI, not to mention the great sound!

Such a bargain, but also a good investment at the same time.
I want to buy them all.

There are several workflow enhancements and the GUI has been completely redesigned:Uncle E wrote:What's changed?tnipe wrote:I'm fortunate enough to have the beta for Acon Digital Verberate 1.5, and it has replaced almost everything else for me.

There are many new presets and the Pro Tools integration has been improved.

I stopped using Bricasti impulse responses from the moment I have Acon Digital Verberate. In my opinion, it sounds even better and since it is algorithmic, it's also way more flexible. Perfect for natural/real sounding rooms/chambers.Dr.Gunjah wrote:HOFA IQ Reverb + bricasti impulse responses = win
When I need a classic lush reverb, I pick Valhalla Vintage Verb.

I did a side by side recently with a large number of reverbs.
Most are listed in this thread.
Some sounded great by simply adding them to the tracks.
But what I found was, the reverbs that allowed for extensive tweaking took the lead not only because you could dial in what you might imagine but those particular reverbs were more capable of variety in sonics.
To my surprise, the clear winner was the Powercore VSSC.
The complexity of the reverb created added character to the tracks.
