So, what you basically mean is that at the moment, Steinberg IS the leader of the market.MaxSynths wrote:Steinberg. VST technology belongs to them.
Put your hands on it and you are the leader of the market.
How dumb of me not to have realized...

"Pretty" perhaps, although not nearly as unscientific as yoursbasslinemaster wrote: That's a pretty unscientific figure
So, Camel Audio could never NEVER have any NEW customers ever, is your point.beely wrote:You had plenty of years to try and buy Alchemy. If you didn't do it then, you likely weren't going to do it this year, or next year either. You've lost nothing that you valued.

That's an interesting fact Sean. It only begs the question: why Apple users are less (and/or PC users are more) interested to come here?valhallasound wrote:KVR skews towards Windows. I conducted a quick poll (http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5960611), and Windows was used by about 66% of the KVR users that responded.

Chapelle, seriously? SERIOUSLY?Chapelle wrote:The poll only allows up to 30 options. I would have added more companies if it was possible. You're wasting your breath. For a lot of people it essentially comes down to "boo hoo, sucks to be you" and they just don't care. I was waiting until I had some extra cash to finally purchase. Too late. The announcement came and I was screwed.Deist wrote:So, Camel Audio could never NEVER have any NEW customers ever, is your point.beely wrote:You had plenty of years to try and buy Alchemy. I didn't bought Alchemy, even though I tried it before. And NO, that absolutely doesn't mean I was never gonna... Such flawed reasoning never ceases to amaze me. You ever heard about potential buyers waiting for an upgrade before buying? Ask Spectrasonics if they're ONLY gonna sell Omnisphere2 upgrades to existing Omnisphere owners!!
C'mon guys, don't you actually THINK anymore before posting these?
Try READing my post. I didn't say "never". I said "weren't likely". Of course Camel have lost potential sales.Deist wrote:So, Camel Audio could never NEVER have any NEW customers ever, is your point.beely wrote:You had plenty of years to try and buy Alchemy. I care (kind of) but there is nothing *anyone* can do about it, so what's the point in constantly ranting "boo hoo, I didn't buy something when I had the chance and couldn't see into the future"..?wagtunes wrote:You're wasting your breath. Well, arguably PC users lost the possibility and hope of ever using Alchemy (let alone Alchemy 2 -- then again, that one might well be lost for everybody now), and that's something.beely wrote:It never ceases to amaze me how outraged people can be that that they've now lost something they never had.
Sth replacing Alchemy? As soon as you name it, I go buy it man!beely wrote:There's one product less on the market that you can buy. Go buy something else then... :shrugs:
Pretty sure Alchemy 2 will never appear, but again, it's something only a small handful of people ever saw anyway.Deist wrote:Well, arguably PC users lost the possibility and hope of ever using Alchemy (let alone Alchemy 2 -- then again, that one might well be lost for everybody now), and that's something.beely wrote:It never ceases to amaze me how outraged people can be that that they've now lost something they never had.
Ha ha, you're right BTW: the joke's on me, I'm just not serious enough for KVR, I don't belong here...Chapelle wrote:Ah, OK, I'm not used to irony here as KVR is usually about serious business.
I have a ready-made answer to that:beely wrote:I care (kind of) but there is nothing *anyone* can do about it, so what's the point in constantly ranting
