How will this happen? Do we need to get in touch with you? Or do you have all PFL owners emails?vstbuzz wrote:PFL customers will get a free copy of all of the Prodyon softwareAloysius wrote:I'm a PFL Customer too. I'll be watching.
Sorry - but it doesn't make sense to me.vstbuzz wrote:Dennis just wanted to shut down - a discussion on collaboration never happened, and to be honest, it doesn't suit our business model

Sorry it doesn't make sense to you. I guess this is just the way it turned out and that's all there is to it reallyCompyfox wrote:Sorry - but it doesn't make sense to me.vstbuzz wrote:Dennis just wanted to shut down - a discussion on collaboration never happened, and to be honest, it doesn't suit our business model

Well, it's nice that you get access to all the former stuff and to keep the PFL accounts "active". But I really don't understand at this point why Dennis wanted to quit - again(!).
It would have been so simple, and yes - this is where I see you being mistaken on your business model. The simplest route would have been, that you offer help in terms of the VAT thing. Maybe ask for a certain percentage of the sale price in terms of handling. And then Dennis could keep his doors open, continue to work on his content and provide us with more excellent material.
Granted, this isn't the first time that Dennis closed doors - but this time around the VAT thing was something else, and it could have been prevented - or better said "fixed" as it stands now.
I currently really have mixed feelings about this topic.
I'm glad I was fast enough to download it while it was free. There's nothing permanent on the internet!Numanoid wrote:Thanks for making Shortnoise free, a great lib for those who don't already own it![]()

Any progress on contacting PFL customers ... ?vstbuzz wrote:We're trying to see if a PFL customer list is available so we can contact everyone who was PFL. If this isn't available, we'll have to ask all the PFL customers to email us directly. We'll update you all soon
We're currently up to 16TB of bandwidth so far and yes...its rather expensive ha!Numanoid wrote:Still listed as a freebie on the site: http://vstbuzz.com/freebies
Could be temporary gone, I'm amazed that they have the money to pay for bandwidth, 6GB per user downloading, adds up to a lot
Unfortunately, Prodyon has been unable to provide us with a list of the PFL customers, so we're going to have to ask all PFL customers to contact us directly with a copy of the Paypal PFL purchase and we can honour the agreement.thecontrolcentre wrote:Any progress on contacting PFL customers ... ?vstbuzz wrote:We're trying to see if a PFL customer list is available so we can contact everyone who was PFL.
