Beware that TB and DDMF do not work in Maschine, so definitely check them both fully in your host of choice.

Yes!!
ToneBoosters is the ultimate best-buy for me,
because I use it all the time and clients always happy by the result, especially when there is a TB ReelBus on the master.
Run solid and super-light on cpu within Pro Tools Win 32-bit, so I have no more any particular demand

Funny, I actually emailed TB back in July asking just this about TB FIX and suggesting a few other features like VST3, M/S/L/R per band etc
Hopefully these things happen, it's still the best dynamic EQ out IMO along with Melda and these features would hopefully help catapult it back up into the light so more people could discover it.

Always backup all the keyfiles of all your softwares. I keep them in a cloud or in my email account.Nightpolymath wrote:They do, except that the link to the keyfile expires after three weeks or three downloads, whichever comes first. Not a good idea to lose those key files (like I did) due to a disk crash. And you can easily access the whole plugin bundle as one download - which covers both the demos and full versions. though I do understand the commentary against downloading a whole bundle. Then again, it's merely 25MB (Windows x64) compared to 500+MB per maintenance update (looking at various companies with custom shops here).
Does anyone know if Jeoren Breebart has an account on KVR ?

I just recently purchased TB Bus Compressor and TB Reelbus, and I love both of them, worth every penny.
Resizing and VST3 will most probably depend a lot on the selected framework the TB plugins are based on. I know that the JUCE framework can actually do it pretty well already, see e.g. The Glue. Or Sylenth1, which, IF I am not mistaking (correct me if I am wrong) was using a different framework back then and was ported to JUCE as well.
But it also depends on Jeroens plans for the future - there still seems to be some active development due to the fact that in April there was a maintenance update, but since 15 months there was no new Toneboosters plugin released. Then again, we'll never know what kind of surprises might happen
The keyfile handling is indeed quite user unfriendly - but depending on the case, I am sure that Jeroen might offer help. Also I'd rather get a couple of rewritable CDs and a couple of USB sticks containing my license backups then to use something like iLok.

I don't think the new version of Sylenth use the JUCE framework.

I have no intention to upgrade to Pro-Q. I'm sure it's great (I've watched some great tutorials on youtube from FF), but TB EQ does everything I need and does it well enough for me. Except for the resizing thing. But that's not enough to justify spending money on another EQ.MogwaiBoy wrote:If you can step up in price to the Fabfilter Pro-Q2, you will not miss the TB EQ or ever look back

If he can get his plugins working in Maschine, i would be over the moon, having to go to the mouse to change a parameter is a total pain, especially when you forget and accidentally try to adjust the parameter via the hardware and it jumps around like a loon haha

I think TB plugins are the most stable plugins, But 5) means...WHAT!?toneboosters wrote:What's happening at Toneboosters you may think - it has been silent for a while. We're working to allow several new features for new plugins, which takes a bit more time than expected! Some of these features include:
1) Scalable user interfaces
2) Easier registration - no more fiddling with key files anymore
3) VST3 support
4) Improved support for channel configurations other than stereo
5) Significant improvement in our DSP core algorithms, both in quality and efficiency
6) Ability to load and save program banks from within the plugin
7) and many more ...!
Stay tuned!

Talk about an update . As for 5), given these are some of the most transparent plugins I know, I wonder what he is cooking up, but that smells good for sure
