Here's the Facebook thingy:

Sounds to me as if would be a separate plugin, but, dunno. I like the GUI, looks slick and clear.Looking for a new reverb? You may want to postpone any purchase decisions until Toneboosters all-new Reverb v4 is released!
* Silky smooth, dense, musical reverberation
* Our best EQ technology so far built in!
* Shape the reverberation damping as a function of frequency
* Gating, ducking, compression? We got it covered!
* LFOs anyone? Send LFO to over a dozen parameters
* Many LFO waveforms, all beat synced
* Internal preset browser
* Resizable GUI with colour themes
* And much more...

Yes, seems a separate plugin.
But I don't think I will get it, v3 is solid and good enough for me I think. However, if it had a shimmer mode, I would upgrade.
Not sure about the user interface, I like the classic TB look of the v3 plugins.
I wonder if he will turn all plugins into separate ones one after the other. He would earn more, that's for sure.

I love the new look. I will most likely purchase the new reverb along with the new Barricade.

I've been using the new Barricade and it's great. The old versions I liked using for their utility but could never wrap my head around its input/limiting/output relationships. I tried using it alone as my end plugin but too many years of the simple "threshold brings level up, max sets output maximum" just could not get it to do my bidding. So I'd often use it but not last, using some plain old maximizer style limiter at the end. Was thrilled that V4 now allows you to use in the mode I was missing. Love the new functions, they sound great!
But I must admit I don't like the new graphics at all : ( Reminds me of Windows freeware : / Oh well : )
But I have the full bundle of toneboosters (not Morph or anything like that) and use them every session. Love toneboosters! For their price they are a total no brainer.

Since it appeared Toneboosters Bus Comp replaced every other bus comp I have as my go to. Others may still find their way in somewhere but the TB Bus Comp is nearly always by default in multiple locations on any given project. Love it!Svama wrote:Which comp?

I can only absolutely agree.bungle wrote:New UIs are great, really hope they all go that design.
This is a very functional, workhorse look, clear and easy on eyes. When you work with some plugin a lot you stop caring about the "bling", but you start caring about some unnecessary "bling" obstructing your workflow.

Stop it guys. You're absolutely raping the point of the "flat design is not functional and doesn't look good" crowd. I mean, that tiny internet crowd, which mobs up, and takes visual offense with that. Because it's so competent that it knows it better than professional graphics designers around the world, who found out that it's easier on the eye, more clear, and functional.

I am a bit undecided on that. On the one hand I like the flat design because it is indeed easy on the eye, on the other hand I like the traditional TB GUI style. Flat GUI's tend to look more similar to each other across different developers.

I exaggerated a bit intentionally, of course it's perfectly fine to prefer the older designs. It's just that there ARE people arguing that flat design sucks, because of the points i mentioned, and i can't really comprehend why, because, it is a popular design, and wouldn't be chose if it was unclear, and uneasy on the eye. And that IS a general thing, which applies to most people.

I think flat design is kind of a 2010's fad, so I guess you could argue that the flat design looks "modern".

+1 especially orange on grey = very 2002. The other colourschemes are nicer.
Can't believe what I just typed... it's a plugin, not a friggin' palace interior!
