But, when I click on the offer, it still shows up at $399. in my shopping cart, so something is not working in their store, I already emailed their support to see if they can sort this out.
Kevin@Arturia posted on the GearSlutz forum, that Arturia had been having technical issues with their webstore, which had been corrected recently. I just checked, and the discount is working now.

Personally, I am hoping for a better price later this year - but in the meantime.. the updates to Analog Lab 3 presets, with their minimal control over timbres is good 'nuf for me.

Hi,

Yes, Arturia had a system glitch last night, that put the promo price offline, I got this info. via email from Arturia Support.

I tried to purchase again this morning, and all went fine. The Link in my Account took me to the store, which showed the upgrade price in the shopping cart at $199. as it should. and I was able to purchase the upgrade with no issues.

Cheers,

And when the offer expires tomorrow,Will there be any upgrade deal?

I think there will still be an upgrade. Personally I think 199 is too much from V5- its the same cost from V2 and that only has seven instruments!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

It's the same as NI do with Komplete. I don't get it either. :hihi:
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

The upgrade price for me is $249.
DX7 v $199

Today's update unfortunately kicks up a false positive with BitDefender blocking the install of DX7 - Looks like it just affects the standalone app rather than the VST but if you're updating (and/or running the standalone DX7 app) temporarily turn off BitDefender's virus shield.

I've submitted the 'offending' dll to them (DX7Processor.dll) so fingers crossed the false positive will be gone in a day or two ...

I recently upgraded from Arturia Lab lite to the full version (just $29 for 6000+ presets!).

Anyway, the Jupiter and SEM presets are maxing my CPU in both Cubase and Reaper! In Cubase i see the VST3 version only.

Has anyone encountered the same? I thought to ask before contacting support.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Maybe you should mention what kind of CPU you have, and audio interface (drivers)? On a second generation i5 laptop, Jupiter is light on CPU / SEM relatively heavy when using all voices - but certainly not maxing out.
If 2 plugins (e.g. VST2 & 3 version of the same plugin) have the same VST id, Cubase will only show one of them.

OK! My PC is:
Win 10 64bit with Ryzen 1600X / 16GB RAM / GTX 1060 and iTwo presonus interface (ASIO with 44.1 khz and 256 buffer). Both Cubase 9 and Reaper 5 are 64bit. I had SEM V before (both the old version and the new and I didn't have any problem with it with my previous system which was i5-4570 and 8GB).

However, I'm talking about "Arturia Lab 3" SEM V and Jupiter V presets not the individual plugins of SEM V and Jupiter V! But to check out the individual plugins, I will download the demos and see!

You can move the vst3 files and then the vst 2 versions will show up. Just plop em over into a temporary folder to get them out of the way. Then you can check out if the vst2 versions have a noticeable change in performance.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.
